New Years and misadventures

Did you know that “misadventure” can be an official cause of death? They use it for things people do to themselves that any normal (read: not a total idiot) person would know not to do. At this time I also find it impossible to not notice that its currently 12:04 on January 2. New Years is over. There are a lot of things I dislike about new years; you got fireworks, people getting sick on alcohol,  resolutions; and of course, parades. I cannot stand parades. Nothing appeals to me about sitting down and watching a bunch of slow moving vehicles, floats, and people as they pass. You might as well pull a chair up to the freeway during rush hour. Thats right; a parade is rush hour with balloons. And now you know.
